Introduction: The dynamic and flexible nature of qualitative studies is expected to impose new challenges upon the researchers in obtaining informed consent. study objectives were explore perceived by consent research their suggestions improve it. Material Methods: It was a descriptive which In-depth interviews conducted among ten purposively selected from one medical college Puducherry. Transcripts prepared audio recordings thematically analyzed manually. Results: identified inadequate knowledge researcher designing form, reluctance sign document participant, ensuring confidentiality risk benefit communication. main provided participants use multimedia tools understanding creating rapport enhance trust participate study. Conclusions: Since most related provide due various reasons lack adequate researcher, good with providing simple information through approaches ethical training will aid us overcome majority these challenges.
